long with some fish, I caught a few good photos of wildlife and scenery from Malheur Reservoir this week. Enjoy, and have a good week!
A small frog sitting on the bank.
A weevil that landed on the boat.
A wolf spider carrying an egg sac.
A close-up of one of a countless number of swarming midges.
A rock chuck not chucking rocks.
A bald eagle. I was disappointed it didn’t stay around long enough to get a few more pictures.
Some rays of sunshine before a thunderstorm.
A panorama of the hills to the northeast of the reservoir.

Of course, I’ve always loved taking frog pictures so this one is really neat! I like the weevil too! And the midge is amazing! The close up detail is just great! The same with the two previous pictures I mentioned too! So clear! The Eagle & the Rock Chuck are good but I like the reservoir; the water even looks cold! Brrr! I can imaging the water lapping against the boat with each of those little waves!

Thank you, I like that one, too. It was actually taken from the edge of the shore.
