Grass moths (Crambidae family) have been a common visitor to the backyard, so here are four of my favorite moth photos from September and October. The first three are Udea rubigalis. The fourth moth is unidentified.
For an update on this caterpillar from last month, I believe it might be a type of grass moth.

It’s very interesting how they spread apart their snouts when they extend their proboscises.
