I have just two pictures to share this week – a green praying mantis hanging out on our cucumber plants. There wasn’t space to use a flash, so I had to use a shallow depth-of-field when it was in the shadows (first image), which turned out looking pretty cool. Then it moved into the sunlight for the second image. I liked how many different shades of green there were – the mantis really knows how to blend in.
Yes, all the greens are really nice and neat close ups of the praying mantis!
