- Some of the flowers are very tiny.
- This is a typical henbit flower, unopened.
- It happened to pop open while I was photographing it.
If you’re interested in seeing some more pictures, this was the same patch of henbit dead-nettle I photographed last year: https://themarkhorton.com/2017/06/19/henbit-dead-nettle/.
Wow! Those are amazing! They are different than the ones I have over here which I thought were henbit! Mine have tiny little white flowers which are really kind of pretty but they throw their seeds & grow everywhere so a really bad weed, as far as I’m concerned! 🙁 Yours are beautiful! 🙂
I didn’t know there was a white variety of henbit. Compared to some of the nasty weeds we have here, these aren’t too bad.
Cool macro of this tiny flower! Neat on the one that popped open! Love the color too!
Thank you. It’s a pretty weed.
