There have been a ton of ladybugs on our Austrian pine this year, but for some reason I still have a hard time taking decent photos of them. They’re usually either running up and down the pine needles or sitting down in between them. This particular time, however, I found one that was perched on the tip of a needle, which made for some interesting (and somewhat humorous) pictures.
The ladybug assumed several different positions while on the edge of the pine needle. I’m not sure what it was doing, but it looked like it was giving a compelling speech…
…or it was telling an intense story.
It was also kind of disappointing to see that a ladybug can grow more facial hair than me.
